PACITAN – The community service team from the Educational Technology Department conducted a training program themed “Deep Learning” specifically designed for junior high school teachers in Ngadirojo District, Pacitan Regency. The event was met with high enthusiasm from the participants.

This community service activity aims to enhance teachers’ understanding and skills in utilizing deep learning technology as part of the digital transformation in education. Participants were provided with foundational knowledge about artificial intelligence and its applications in the educational field. The junior high school teachers showed remarkable enthusiasm throughout the sessions, actively asking questions and engaging in discussions about the implementation of deep learning technology in daily teaching practices.

The training covered various key aspects of deep learning, ranging from basic concepts and practical applications to implementation strategies in the classroom. Participants were also introduced to several tools and platforms that can support the development of more innovative learning methods. This program reflects the university’s commitment to supporting the improvement of educational quality in the region. The community service team stated that they will continue providing assistance and evaluation regarding the implementation of the training outcomes in participating schools.
