The STEM Education General Lecture: Robots and Programming was part of the Visiting Professor agenda of the Faculty of Education and Psychology, in collaboration with the Department of Curriculum and Educational Technology. The event was held on Monday, 10 July 2023, at the Moh. Amien Hall. Participants included lecturers from the Educational Technology program and representatives from other study programs, along with 19 undergraduate students of Educational Technology and 13 graduate students of Educational Technology.

The invited professor serving as keynote speaker was Prof. Kuo-Hung Huang from the Department of E-Learning Design and Management, School of Teacher Education, National Chiayi University. During the session, Prof. Kuo-Hung Huang delivered material on the role of robots and programming in education. He emphasized how technological advancements increasingly influence education, particularly through technology-based tools such as educational robots and programming activities.

In addition to the lecture, an exhibition showcasing various robot and programming products was held. Participants showed great enthusiasm in engaging with and trying out the displayed educational technologies. It is hoped that the undergraduate and graduate students of Educational Technology will be able to further develop innovative robot-based programming learning media in the future.
