Coordination Meeting of the Department of Curriculum and Educational Technology

The coordination meeting of the Department of Curriculum and Educational Technology was held on Friday, March 10, 2023, offline in Meeting Room 1, 2nd floor of FIPP. The meeting began at 3:30 PM WIB and was attended by lecturers of Educational Technology, DKTP administrative staff, and Student Employment representatives. The meeting was opened and chaired directly by Dr. Pujiriyanto, M.Pd., as the Head of the Department of Curriculum and Educational Technology.

In this meeting, several academic topics were discussed, including unresolved student grades (marked as K), the MBKM program, PMB monitoring and evaluation, accreditation of the Master’s Program in Educational Technology (S2 TP), the 2023 work program of the Educational Technology Study Program, research groups and research activities, community service (PPM), and promotion-related meetings, which were presented directly by Dr. Pujiriyanto, M.Pd. Academic matters discussed included unresolved student grades (K), implementation of the MBKM program, and PMB monitoring and evaluation. The 2023 work program of the Educational Technology Study Program includes student research, initiation of micro-credentials, tracer studies, analysis of CPL and CPMK achievement, collegial meetings, research and development workshops, lecturer competency development (certification), journal club, book writing, benchmarking, RPS & CPMK workshops, and PhD proposal writing. Regarding accreditation for the Master’s Program in Educational Technology (S2 TP), a draft of the accreditation document is expected to be ready by March 15. Meanwhile, regarding lecturer promotion to Professor, the candidate mentioned is Dr. Ali Muhtadi, M.Pd.

After the presentations, a question-and-answer session and discussion were held, during which several lecturers provided feedback on the topics presented. Points discussed included: (1) For students who still have unresolved K grades, lecturers should immediately inform the concerned students. (2) The MBKM program is intended for sixth-semester students, and all sixth-semester courses can be converted if the student participates in an internship. Additionally, lecturers need to be provided with an MBKM program guide. (3) Regarding accreditation for S2 TP, the draft accreditation document is expected to be ready by March 15, 2023. The secretary of the accreditation committee is Dr. Ali Muhtadi, M.Pd., and an accreditation workshop will be held next week. (4) Community Service (PP) activities will be conducted both offline and online to fulfill 32 instructional hours, estimated to take place around July on Saturdays and Sundays. (5) RPL students who are unable to attend classes due to work obligations may receive alternative assessments at the lecturer’s discretion, such as additional assignments or being given an E grade. (6) For intellectual property (IPR), the department will assist in developing five potential media/applications. (7) A special podcast for the Educational Technology Study Program will be created to optimize the TP Lab and enhance student competencies by discussing factual topics and issues.

After the Q&A and discussion session concluded, the meeting was officially closed at 5:00 PM WIB by Dr. Pujiriyanto, M.Pd., as the Head of the Department of Curriculum and Educational Technology.
