On Tuesday, January 31, 2023, the Inauguration Ceremony of the Educational Technology Student Association (HIMA TP), along with other student organizations within FIPP, was held at the Abdullah Sigit Building, starting at 12:15 PM. The inauguration was attended by the Dean, the Vice Deans for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs and Alumni, and Research, Cooperation, and Information Systems, the Heads of Departments within FIPP, the Coordinators of Master’s and Doctoral Programs, HIMA Advisors, Educational Staff, and Student Representatives from various student organizations. The event began with an opening ceremony, followed by the singing of the Indonesian national anthem Indonesia Raya and the UNY Hymn.

Afterward, a report was delivered by Dr. Cepi Safruddin Abdul Jabar, M.Pd., Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Alumni. He stated that the Faculty of Education and Psychology hosts 16 student organizations, including BEM, DPM, UKMF Reality, UKMF Music Camp, UKMF KMIP, HIMA MP, HIMA PLS, HIMA PLB, HIMA BK, HIMA TP, HIMA PGSD Campus II, HIMA PGSD Campus III, HIMA PAUD, HIMA Psychology, HIMA Educational Policy, and KMMD FIPP for the Master’s and Doctoral programs. Dr. Cepi Safruddin Abdul Jabar, M.Pd. also reminded students to maintain unity and collaboration amid global challenges while continuing to develop creativity.

The reading of the Dean’s Decree marked the beginning of the inauguration agenda, followed by the recital of the pledge and the handover of the appointment letters. In his remarks, the Dean of FIPP, Prof. Dr. Sujarwo, M.Pd., emphasized that ORMAWA administrators must be intelligent, accomplished, and capable of identifying opportunities within their environment to develop both personal potential and the organization. The inauguration concluded with a prayer and ended at 1:40 PM.
